While lamenting the loss of Grandpa Max at a secluded spot where he used to take Ben and Gwen fishing, the trio spots a mysterious figure leaving flowers at a nearby tree. When they attempt contact, the stranger eludes them. With persistence, Ben and Gwen learn it's their grandmother, Verdona, who reveals a startling family secret and further presents Gwen with a very special invitation - one she doesn't intend for Gwen to refuse. For 5 years, Ben Tennyson has lived a normal life without the Omnitrix. He goes to visit his Grandfather, only to find he's gone, and he's left a message for Ben. A plumber shows up, who tells Ben there's renewed alien activity on Earth, and he was working with Ben's grandfather to solve the case. Tracking down the source of level-5 technology (banned from level-2 tech Earth), Gwen, Ben, Magister and Kevin discover a castle facade infested with DNAliens lead by a Highbreed Commander. Its discovery pushes back the aliens' plans by several months. They must relocate, but not without destroying all life within a five-mile radius first. Ben's team decides to assume the missing Max' mission and thwart them as best they can. Written by statmanjeff

The team gets a signal from the Plumber's badge. Suspecting it's from Grandpa Max, they investigate. They find a boy who can change into Heatblast. He's being pursued by the local Police who blame him for a string of fires and crop circles. As the team investigates the crop circles they learn more about the alien conspiracy. Kevin repairs Grandpa Max' Rust Bucket only in order to steal it and trade it clandestinely for some higher technology. It puts him back in touch with Argit, a porcupine/possum alien cohort who's even less trustworthy than Kevin. Dealings with Argit lead Kevin to reacquaint with Vulkanus, whom Kevin once swindled some few years earlier. Since Kevin already owes Vulkanus big time, Vulkanus capitalizes on Kevin's special abilities, entrapping him in a state of perpetual servitude. Fortunately for Kevin, Ben and Gwen arrive, and Ben receives an additional mission. Written by statmanjeff

In tracking down Plumber offspring, Ben and friends comes across Mike Morningstar after rescuing a girl nearly run over by a truck. He's revealed to be a Plumber's offspring. While Ben and Gwen trust him right away, Kevin remains uneasy. At first the unease can be attributed to Mike becoming Kevin's rival for Gwen's affections, but when Mike drains Gwen of her magical energy, reducing her to another of his zombie slave girls, Ben aligns solidly with Kevin. When Gwen's elder brother Ken disappears while in Santa Mira, California, both Grandpa Max and Ben's team converge to look for him. Ben's team finds another alien weather machine working to keep the area in a state of perpetual rain - the perfect condition to raise xenocites, alien parasites that take possession of humans. Surrounded by DNAliens and threatened by a HighBreed, Grandpa Max readies an extreme solution while Ben's Omnitrix reveals a heretofore unknown ability - it can talk. Written by statmanjeff

With Gwen's aid, Ben finally asks classmate Julie on a date, but their pleasant evening together at a pier carnival suffers when the Omnitrix starts beeping loudly and several of the carny rides start attacking Ben. With Kevin and Gwen not on hand, Ben labors alone to keep his date with Julie from becoming a complete shambles amidst the unwarranted attacks. With the team defeating an immensely powerful alien robot, Kevin collects its severed hand as a souvenir. School bullies Cash and JT, looking to give Ben a hard time, trash Kevin's car as the next best thing and find Kevin's souvenir collection in the trunk. With the robot hand in hand, the two bullies discover that it fits like a glove and gives the wearer super-tech capabilities. Cash claims it, but JT notices it starting to claim Cash in return and warns Ben, who must engage in a fight to the finish to save the school bully from becoming a full-fledged cyborg. Following up on reports of strange happenings at an abandoned military base, Ben, Gwen and Kevin discover a dangerous, transdimensional creature roaming around the buildings and an immortal, time-traveling professor who reveals Earth's doom unless they can stop it. Written by statmanjeff

Through Kevin, the Forever Knights ask Ben for help. They've been the secret guardians of an imprisoned dragon for a thousand years, which has only now escaped. With Ben's help, they'd like to finally kill it, but in helping the Knights, Ben discovers that the dragon is an alien capable of speech. Able to replace its broken translator, Ben turns moderator to keep the embittered, vengeance-minded dragon from making a blood-bath of the Knights, while Gwen and Kevin deal likewise with the Knights. Still reeling from losing their partner/leader (Pierce), Plumber offspring Helen (resembling Ben's former Omnitrix alien XLR8) and Manny (resembling Four Arms) hunt down and disintegrate aliens. Though primarily battling the DNAlien conspiracy, they recklessly, due to ignorance, include all alien life forms encountered.
