Comedian Jamie Slater provides the voice for Waldo,a blue cartoon bear who interviews politicians for a late night topical satire show where Waldo generally humiliates them. Jamie's producer Jack Napier suggests Waldo stands as the local MP in the upcoming election,against pompous Tory boy Liam Monroe - one of Waldo's interview victims. A reluctant Jamie agrees and meets the Labour candidate Gwendolyn,with whom he has a one night stand but is later told to keep away from by her campaign manager. On a televised discussion show Jamie sounds off against all the opposition,claiming they are insincere,and he becomes hugely popular as a result. However he suffers from guilt and urges people not to vote for Waldo. After Napier orchestrates an attack on him Jamie wakes in hospital to see the election results. Martha is devastated when her partner Ash is killed in a road accident on the day they planned to move to a country cottage. At Ash's funeral, Martha's friend Sarah tells her of a new service which allows people to communicate with their deceased loved ones by using all their online communications and contributions. Martha is appalled, and decides to stay in the cottage despite her sister's view she is isolating herself. One day Martha gets a message from Ash, and she realises Sarah has signed her up for the service. Initially, Martha's displeased but, on finding she's pregnant, relents and relishes their conversations. With her comfort-level growing talking with the synthetic Ash, it isn't long before 'he' tells Martha about a 'next level' of communicating - one which is...experimental. Victoria wakes with a head-ache and bandaged wrists,pills spilled on the floor. A strange sign is flickering on the television but she can remember nothing. Outside she meets Jem, a young woman who explains that the signal on the television set comes from the White Bear transmitter. It has turned most of the population into voyeurs who do nothing but watch and sometimes film as a deadly elite known as the hunters kill those unaffected by the signal,such as Jem and Victoria. Escaping from a hunter they reach the White Bear transmitter,which they intend to destroy. However the White Bear set-up is not what it first appears and nor is Victoria. Written by don @ minifie-1

In a remote cabin Joe Potter reluctantly celebrates Christmas with the enigmatic Matt who starts to tell Joe about his previous jobs. In one he guided the nervous Harry into picking up the desirable Jennifer through an implant in the boy's head through which Matt shouted instructions though Matt could not foresee that it would end in disaster. As a result his wife blocked him out of her life via a device which, by pressing a button, completely obliterated the person in question. His next job involved transferring peoples' brains into tiny robotic replicas of themselves through which they could control gadgets but he could control their life span, selling them to the gaming industry. Joe then tells Matt how the love of his life, Bethany, fell pregnant but did not want the baby and blocked him before disappearing. Later, after Bethany's death, Joe sees the child but gets a shock and an even bigger one when he realizes who Matt is and what he has been sent to do. The job done, Matt is ...
