Chris Bavin heads to the Yorkshire Dales to meet the Pateley Bridge Bloomers who are determined to save their local high street after it was affected by dwindling numbers of tourists.

Chris meets the Clovelly Bloomers, who are determined to win gold despite having to garden in the extremely steep landscape of this ancient Devonshire fishing village.

Chris travels to Birmingham to meet the business owners and residents of Soho Road. 600 businesses along the one-mile street are working with the local council to improve the area and trade.

Chris to Southport to meet the town's experienced team of Bloomers who look after many of the seaside resorts green spaces due to council budget cuts. But the summer drought threatens their plans.
