Four judges become competitors in a battle with a Thanksgiving theme. Included: Maneet Chauhan, Alex Guarnaschelli, Marc Murphy, Chris Santos are given hominy and gummy turkey feet in appetizer round.

The chefs open the first basket to find frog legs and some fine fungi. In the entree round, little beans and big pork chops cause the competitors difficulties; one of the finalists incorporates cheese into an ice cream.

Pesto sauce and chicken are the mandatory appetizer ingredients; the chefs are forced to get creative when spirulina chips appear in the entrée baskets; and a treat from Kazakhstan helps make the dessert round interesting.

A meatball battle forces the chefs to get creative, especially when it comes to dessert. Basket ingredients include crème brulee and boar shoulder.

A holiday battle features The Kitchen (2014)'s hosts competing for charity. First, they use seafood salad and challah bread for appetizers; and later, take meat, potatoes and yule logs and transform the ingredients into creative entrées.

A sandwich battle begins with beef brisket as the featured ingredient in the appetizer round. Later, pork shoulder and pate show up in the entrée baskets; and desserts are made using Thai curry paste and chocolate-covered espresso beans.

A mother, father, daughter and son, who run a restaurant together, compete. In the first found, flatbread and a strong citrus are the mystery ingredients. Next, the remaining family members have to debone fish and add flavor to tofu.
