Ramon asks Acosta to let him find the shooters. Ramon goes to one of Cassius' informants who gives the name of the shooters. They're about to go get them when an Internal Affairs man and an A.D.A. A Colombian informant is about to testify in Federal Court, but is freed by an ambush, forcing Ryan to choose between his Task Force duties and revealing the snitch's whereabouts to assist the Acosta family's quest for legitimacy.

The team is pursuing a Russian gang. They think they're smuggling something but they discover girls held captive. They try talking to one, Vee tries talking to her thinking she's Russian but Ryan discovers she's Mexican. She tells them that she was impregnated and her baby was taken. they think that they're selling babies. Vee goes to see someone she doesn't want to, to get information. The team tries to find the man who is selling a new drug whom they hope will help them get Acosta. They go to the man and find him freaking out, his eyes torn out. They calm him down and test the drug and discover someone tampered with it. They investigate and learn that Carlos Acosta is the one behind it. Chapel wants to get him but Ryan convinces him to wait. He then goes to Javier and tells him what Carlos did. But he's reluctant to do anything. The team busts one of Acosta's shipments. Chapel tells them that he has an informant and doesn't tell them who it is. Ryan goes to Acosta and tells him about Chapel's informant. He tells Ryan that it's important that the next shipment goes through because they need it to pay the Metas and if they don't... Chapel has another raid only it was a set up. He goes to his informant and Ryan convinces him to bring him along and he sees it's Lucho. They realize Acosta knows that someone is informing and he passed the info to smoke him out. Chapel tells Lucho he's no longer of any use to him. Lucho tells Chapel that Acosta has someone in the inside. After the shipment that the Los Angelicos were shipping for the Metas is seized by the police, Daniel is taken. Acosta learns that Daniel will be killed unless he makes restitution. Ryan informs them that the shipment was destroyed. So Javier needs to find some other way to make restitution. Jessica tells Ryan that the shipment wasn't destroyed; they said it was for the publicity. In reality it's being sent East for an operation. So Ryan informs Javier about it so they decide to recover it and Ryan offers to lead it. But he insists that they kill no one. But when they hit them, Cassius is with them and he and Ryan are facing each other. They then drive off but the police are on their tail. Chapel learns about this and makes plans to nab him. Ryan goes to Javier telling him that Chapel knows about the arms he's buying. Javier tells him that he has to make sure it goes through. Ryan tries to feed Chapel false Intel so that Javier can get through. But Carter gets covert permission to set up surveillance on Ryan. And when Ryan discovers it, he has to make a difficult choice.
