In the series premiere episode GARAGE SQUAD tackles two iconic 1960s Fords that have sat in the garage of the Flood Family for decades. The Flood Family patriarch Chris was born in Ireland before coming to the U.S. in the 1960s and being immediately drafted to serve in the Vietnam War. The 1963 Ford Galaxie he owns is a symbol of America that he loves, but it has sat in desperate need of a bumper to bumper overhaul for several years. His son Greg has also struggled with completing the restoration of a 1966 Ford Mustang since smoke billowed from the steering wheel, and the steering wheel came off in his hands while driving it.
