Others report seeing the spirit, as well as a grouchy commodore who comes to the bar demanding a Manhattan. Both Susan and her son participate in the investigation. The TAPS team investigates the Midwest Railway Preservation Society in Cleveland, OH. Employees who work with the rail cars report voices, shadows, and other disturbing activity. One man who purchased a restored car claims his came with a ghost. The team focuses on the infamous Death Car in which 26 people were killed by scalding steam and water in the 1940s. The team is called to investigate Grays Armory in Cleveland, Ohio. Kristin, its current manager, wonders if her presence in the 120-year-old all-male facility is raising the ire of deceased members. Another guess is that the ghost of the former maintenance man, Lou, is still watching over the property. Jason and Steve play cat and house with footsteps that seem to move from floor to floor. The team travels to Detroit to investigate The Whitney, the once-home of a lumber baron that's now a restaurant. Employees report seeing numerous male and female specters, including a non-existent bathroom attendant. TAPS visits the Varnum Armory in East Greenwich, RI, an historical military organization hoping to share its artifacts with the public. Voices have been reported, as well as shadow figures, door slams, and touching. Team members experience phantom footsteps on the stairs and Jason feels two temperature drops. First stop is the Old Lake County Jail in Crown Point, IN which has housed notorious gangsters, including John Dillinger, since the 1880s. Some women have reported being roughed up while others have seen orbs and heard voices. Then, My Old Kentucky Home Park in Bardstown, KY, has a history of tragedy. A beautiful old inn that was once part of the Underground Railroad is investigated by TAPS to determine whether the 150th anniversary to the end of the Civil War could be stirring spirits. Later, a pizzeria is found to have a dark energy of hangings, prisoners and threatening entities, which could make it a risky place to hold a children's birthday party.

A library recently designated as a literary landmark is investigated over reports of ghostly visitors with a thirst for knowledge.

First stop is the former home of renowned surgeon Dr. Phillip Physick, a Philadelphia, PA physician during the late 1700s. He was believed to have performed research on cadavers stolen from local cemeteries. Reports include shadow figures, people coming to the front door then disappearing, and things moving on their own. The team captures EVPs and a cameraman is rammed by a self-propelled cart. Next, TAPS visits Alms House and Jail in Middletown, CT. During the 1850's, young orphans were overcrowded into the attic and insane were imprisoned in the cellar. Tenants in the newly renovated buildings are stressed by the ghostly activity. TAPS investigates the The Garde Arts Center in New London, Connecticut. The theater was built on the site of the former Thomas Wheeler Williams mansion where five of his children died. There are several reports of a little girl with a balloon and one employee says an unseen force caught him when he fell from a ladder. The team encounters several mysterious sounds. The team investigates a home in Cornwall Bridge, CT, near the failed, supposedly-cursed village of Dudleytown. At least nine people have died on the property, where the homeowner has seen a black mass, and others report voices and a shaking bed. Elsewhere, chefs in Wrightsville, PA report a ghost girl is haunting the restaurant in which they work and a nearby home. TAPS finds that the claims at these locations are difficult to confirm.
