After surviving a wesen ambush from a terrorist cell known as the Black Claw, Nick discovers Juliette is still alive, but learns what Chavez and Meisner were doing to her. The group interrogate Xavier. The group soon learns these attacks go beyond Portland. An attack occurs at the Wesen Council.

The legend of the Lake Monster comes back to life as Nick and Hank investigate a mysterious sighting linked to a tourist's death at a local lake. Rosalee's past comes back to haunt her. Elsewhere, Capt. Renard continues to support a candidate for mayor. Meanwhile, Nick is shown the scope of the Wesen uprising as the secret government agency takes him into the heart of their Portland operations center.

A barbaric Wesen ritual is brought to the present and Nick (David Giuntoli), Hank (Russell Hornsby) and Wu (Reggie Lee) are already five steps behind the serial killer. To aid in the investigation, Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) goes undercover. Meanwhile, Hadrian's Wall's war against Black Claw intensifies as Eve (Bitsie Tulloch) uses her unique skills to interrogate a suspect.

After studying the new keys, Monroe concludes the map, although still incomplete, points to a church in a village of the Back Forest in Germany and sets out with Nick to search for the crusades age hiding place. They are opposed by the local curate's feral guardians militia. Back home, Wu and Hank work out the Black Claw recruited hit-man Marwan Hanano for something, last minute it concerns Andrew Dixon's mayoral campaign, too late to prevent a sniper attack on the rally. Renard (Sasha Roiz) joins Hank (Russell Hornsby) and Wu (Reggie Lee) to track down a deadly assassin who has thrown Portland into havoc. Little do they know that Eve (Bitsie Tulloch) is on a hunt of her own for the same man. Meanwhile, someone from Rosalee's (Bree Turner) past tracks her down.

A local maskmaker is targeting Wesen to create Luchador masks that bestows great power to its wearer. As Nick (David Giuntoli), Hank (Russell Hornsby), Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) and Rosalee (Bree Turner) work to stop the killings, Capt. Renard (Sasha Roiz) considers an offer that will bring him closer to claiming his destiny. Meanwhile, Eve's (Bitsie Tulloch) further investigation of a recent incident raises new questions.

When a guy named Doyle said that he got attacked after his car hit a tree on the way home, Nick and Hank felt there's something odd about it. When they investigate more, they found dead bodies in the wood. Monroe thought that the killer is a Lycanthrope, and they suspected that Doyle is the killer. A beauty regimen proves deadly for a young woman, who seems to have aged 70 years when Nick and Hank find her lifeless body. As they search for proof of Wesen involvement, they are led to a local doctor, and end up enlisting Rosalee's help in their investigation. Meanwhile, Eve takes a bold step to learn more about Capt. Renard's nefarious dealings.

An evangelical preacher (guest star William Mapother) has a tent revival unlike any other when he uses his Wesen identity to gain more believers. Nick (David Giuntoli) and Hank (Russell Hornsby) are called to the scene as things escalate when a group of true believers are hell bent on saving the preacher and his flock by any means necessary. Meanwhile, Capt. Renard (Sasha Roiz) takes further steps to gain power in local government. Elsewhere, Eve (Bitsie Tulloch) uses Adalind's (Claire Coffee) ol' hat trick to gain more access to Black Claw.
