In flashback to the Scottish highlands, a young Duncan hunts a wolf in a fey forest and finds Cassandra, an Immortal who is thought to be a witch by the Clan MacLeod. Back in modern San Francisco, Duncan and Cassandra reunite when Cassandra is convinced that Duncan is the one to fulfill an ancient prophecy, but her enemy Roland, an Immortal with the ability to hypnotize people as he speaks to them, is determined to finish Duncan before he can. Immortal Carl Robinson has a great baseball career until he is seen killing another Immortal and forced to run for his life. He asks Duncan for help, but when another man is arrested for the murder, Duncan becomes Carl's conscience as Immortal police detective Matthew McCormick pursues Carl. Carolyn Marsh is a romance author whose latest book features the exploits of a hero named Duncan MacLeod and a villain named Terence Coventry, the name of another Immortal who Duncan knows -- and who Carolyn knows well. As Carolyn puts the moves on Duncan and tries to convince him to help promote the book, she gets into a catfight with Amanda. Meanwhile, Terence is furious at Carolyn for portraying him as a villain. When Amanda disappears into a van after a robbery, Richie thinks she has been kidnapped and goes after her. He finds her with Cory Raines, an old acquaintance of Duncan's and Amanda's who has always brought them trouble. Unfortunately for everyone involved, the money that Cory stole belongs to a mobster, and he wants his money back. An Immortal Messenger of pacifism, who pretends to be Methos to give his message weight, preaches peace between Immortals. Richie becomes his latest convert and tries to convince Duncan to stop taking heads as well -- right when Duncan encounters William Everett Culbraith, the Immortal former commander of Andersonville prison, where Duncan suffered part of the Civil War and lost a good friend. The Messenger also tries to convert disillusioned Culbraith, whose bloodlust is unquenchable due to a personal tragic loss he himself suffered during the war. Has the Messenger met his match? Meanwhile, Joe discovers that the Messenger has left a trail of dead Immortals behind him, when those he convinced of peace encounter those still fighting and fail to convince them to quit The Game. In flashback to 1867 Texas, Duncan is part of a posse after Immortal Koren and his gang of raiders. In modern day, Duncan's friend Immortal Cassandra is also after Koren, but she tells Duncan he is also Kronos, one of the Four Horsemen who brought terror and death to mankind through the ages. Meanwhile, Cassandra reveals Methos was also one of the Horsemen, which shocks Duncan into ending their friendship. Written by mama.sylvia

Richie poses as an American millionaire and gets the attention of Marina, an impoverished nobility girl who urgently needs 2,000,000 francs to keep the family manor. Duncan and Richie go to see Anna Hidalgo, who manages some dancers one of who is her daughter Luisa. When Luisa refuses to tell her mother who she is seeing it causes a rift between them. Later when she sees the man, she says he's Octavio Consonne the man who killed her father. It seems like Anna was be throed to Consonne but she was in love with her partner and was pregnant with his child and when Consonne learns of this he killed him. But because it was 25 years ago, it couldn't be him. But Duncan knows he's an immortal and he encountered him a hundred years ago when they pursued same girl and they had a duel which Consonne won. Consonne reveals himself to Anna and that this is his way of getting back at her. She turns to Duncan who prepares to face Consonne. Written by rcs0411@yahoo.com

Lord Byron, the famous poet, is immortal, and in modern day he has become a music star. It comes to the attention of Duncan, Methos, and Joe that he is luring aspiring musicians into his world of drugs and reckless living, with the musicians usually winding up dead, and Duncan decides to put a stop to it. In flashback to 1816 Switzerland, Byron and Methos inspire Mary Shelley to write Frankenstein. Written by page8701
