The ten survivors find their base where they must work together by securing shelter, safety and essential supplies for the whole group. The army are able to monitor them via satellite and radio - setting missions essential for their survival.

In this episode, three survivors come face to face with a horde of zombies as they leave the base to find food for the group. An electrical storm late at night causes a security malfunction as the base faces being overrun by zombies. The only solution is to find the power room and reboot the system. But with zombies everywhere who will be brave enough to go into the dark air vents and take on such a high-risk mission?

As the zombie apocalypse rages on the group are coming to terms with the events of the last 24 hours. Two survivors have been killed by zombies when they were out on a mission, while a freak electric storm has left the base flooded and in chaos. As some of the group head out for supplies to repair the damage, three of them become trapped at the other side of the compound. Their only chance of survival is to risk their lives one by one and try and outmanoeuvre the horde of zombies.

As the remaining survivors struggle to come to terms with yet more deaths the group are gripped by fear, tension and paranoia. To make matters worse three strangers enter the compound and look for help and refuge in the base. But suspicion starts to take hold.

Five days into their zombie apocalypse ordeal, the group are growing suspicious of one of the previous episode's new arrivals. To make matters worse, supplies are running low and survivors have to venture out into the compound. Will they be able to work together to avoid the horde of flesh-eating zombies?

With just over 48 hours left until they are rescued, the group come face to face with the abomination - a ferocious and deadly freak zombie. The only way to stop it running havoc within the compound could be for the survivors to turn on each other.

It's the final day and the group are preparing to be rescued. However, they are about to face their toughest challenge yet. Zombies have found a way into the base and with the army still miles away they are forced on the run within the compound. As the army helicopter inches nearer to the landing site, will any of the survivors be able to make their way past the zombie horde and escape?

The rescued survivors reflect on their seven-day ordeal, looking back on the highs and lows as their group tried to work together to stay alive and avoid being eaten by a horde of flesh-eating zombies.
