The series premiere has Gordon visiting Peter's, an Italian restaurant in West Babylon, NY. The owner, Peter, of course, does not make a good first impression as he keeps Gordon waiting 20 minutes at the bus station. Peter considers himself to be a hot-shot high roller as he buys an expensive car and sporting jackets, but the main problem the establishment has is the restaurant's feuding kitchen and wait staff with Peter's sister Tina caught in the middle. On the day of the relaunch, Peter gets into a explosive fight with a visiting debt collector with several staff members trying to break up the fight and that night, Gordon discovers Peter is the main problem as he does nothing to contribute to the changes, but Peter eventually understands where Gordon is coming from.
