Caleb travels far to get fresh Deer for his family, while avoiding bear. Chris and Jessi go fishing, while Johnny takes on some construction chores.

Johnny heads out to get some fresh salmon, while Chevie gets a load of construction materials, to build a tree stand. The Rowlands need to get their wood dry and the Morse's try new fishing grounds

Kaleb and Gilbert go salmon fishing on the river, but must avoid bears, while Chevie goes moose hunting. Johnny tries his luck for sea octopus and encounters an unexpected problem. Robert and RJ head upriver deer hunting.

It is the changing of the seasons and Winter is on its way again. The Alaskans heed the warning signs and start their planning and preparations for the harsh times to come.

With the early snows, some Alaskans are still attending to essential maintenance such as wood drying shelters, cabin maintenance and stove cleaning duties, while others are trying to get more food stocks in.
