After having been in a coma for three months, Allison has spent a month now undergoing physiotherapy to try and regain the use of her right hand. With neither she nor Joe working - he turned down the job in San Diego - she has also stopped dreaming. DA Devalos is happy to have her back at work even without her special abilities. Allison and Detective Lee Scanlon investigate a complaint by Dan Taper who has evidence that another man, Peter Winant, has been following and making video recordings of his TV personality wife Sophie Cullen. Winant claims that he and Cullen are having an affair which both investigators find hard to believe. When his housekeeper's daughter vanishes, DA Devalos asks Allison to help out with the case. Elena Agronov was a college student who practically grew up as part of the Devalos family and the DA is certain that something is wrong as a prolonged absence is out of character. Allison has had a dream about the girl who, unbeknown to anyone, has been working as a stripper. She's also been having an affair with a married man. It all takes a strange twist when the dead woman's spirit takes over Ariel's body. It's only obvious to Allison and she desperately tries to stop Elena/Ariel from taking revenge on the killer which would result in Ariel spending the rest of her life in jail. Written by garykmcd

Allison begins to dream of a serial killer who has not struck in 11 years and is believed by the author of a best-selling book on the murders to have confessed on his death bed. When murders with the same cryptic symbols on the victims bodies begin to appear, it seems the killer may have returned. With the help of Neil Greybridge, someone from her physical therapy classes who was brutally attacked by a mugger, Allison begins the process of tracking him down. Joe meanwhile starts his new job but is surprised that he has nothing to do and that his boss doesn't intend to assign him anything. The income is welcome but Joe feels unfulfilled and decides to do something about. Written by garykmcd

It's Halloween and eerie is the key word. While working with Det. Lee Scanlon investigating the disappearance of funeral director Carl Catallano, Allison dreams that she is a character in the movie Night of the Living Dead (1968). When she wakes the next morning however, she's covered with scratches. As her dreams continue, Joe and the girls become key characters and Allison becomes concerned as to just what extent she might be hurt if she continues on this path. What would happen if she were to die in her dream? Meanwhile, Brigitte has an unfortunate experience when she brings her class' pet tarantula home and now thinks that the creature is haunting her. After an accident at Ariel's school where another student drives into Allison's parked station wagon, she has to rent a car until it's repaired. Det. Lee Scanlon asks for her help in deciphering the meaning of blast marks they've found in the desert near a power plant. In a vision, she sees someone apparently testing an explosive device but has little else to offer. She's enjoying her fancy SUV with all of its gadgets but is taken aback when through the car's sound system, she can hear conversations in the vehicles around her. One of those involves a man who is obviously being abducted at gunpoint, but she loses them in traffic. When she dreams that night that a man will walk into a bank wearing a bomb-laden vest, it all starts to come together. The crime is not as simple as it first seems however. At school meanwhile, Ariel realizes that the facts don't support the story about the car accident and the consequences it may have for the student involved. Written by garykmcd

Allison and Joe are not only having to deal with the fact that Ariel seems to have a boyfriend but that if Allison's dreams are to be believed, that their daughter is dating a murderer. Much to Joe's annoyance - and to Ariel's horror - Allison jumps into this with both feet immediately involving Det. Scanlon and interviewing the boy, Casey Covington, at his school. As Allison's dreams continue, she becomes more convinced of the boy's guilt but can't quite make the facts fit. Bridgette meanwhile has taken to recording an inept neighbor's escapades and putting them on the Internet. It isn't so funny for Joe and Allison when they learn they are being sued. When Allison develops a strange sensitivity to light, the sunglasses she wears reveal mysterious numbers which could tie into people's life expectancies. Also, Allison's dream about Joe's dad causes Joe to start taking better care of his health. Written by CBS Publicity

While Homeland Security and FEMA warn the authorities that a highly contagious specimen of a killer virus is missing from a local lab, Allison dreams of a man speeding down the highway obviously intent on killing himself. When it happens the next day, Allison learns that the man was actually a research scientist at a the biochemical firm responsible for the missing sample. Worse, it's possible he may have been infected with the virus meaning Allison, her family, Det. Scanlon and all of the emergency workers at the scene may have been infected. Meanwhile, Scanlon finally plans on proposing to Lynn DiNovi but Allison is concerned when Bridgette has a dream where she saw Scanlon looking very sad. Written by garykmcd

The police hunt a serial killer targeting innocent women, but when the prime suspect dies, his ghost contacts Allison to clear his name, contact his girlfriend and maybe help the investigation. Also, Joe's boss asks him to critique his new novel. Written by CBS Publicity

After being mugged in a mall parking lot, Allison meets another assault victim, Kira Hudack. With her dreams showing her being attacked again by the same men who mugged her, she decides to take the self-defense classes Kira offers. Soon her dreams show her the man who attacked Kira; or so she thinks and makes a terrible error. Det. Scanlon has to deal with family issues when DA Devalos tells him his sex offender brother Paul Scanlon is the suspect in the recent rape of a 15 year-old girl. The DA's office has an undercover officer in Paul's group therapy class but when Lee confronts him about the rape, Paul denies it and claims to be on the road to recovery. When the undercover cop is found dead, Paul becomes their main suspect but Allison's dreams reveal otherwise. Written by garykmcd

As their wedding approaches, young Joe and Allison are having to deal with a number of challenges. She is going to meet Joe's parents for the first time and they learn over dinner that they have now officially separated. Allison is also having to come to terms with her dreams and her psychic powers. She keeps dreaming of people and events she is not yet familiar with, including a man who is assaulting young women - one of whom is a teenaged Ariel, who for obvious reasons Allison does not yet recognize. She recognizes the killer however at the rehearsal dinner and knowing what will happen, questions whether she should go ahead with the wedding. Written by garykmcd

Allison dreams about a young woman who asks if that's all she does with her gift and then slits her own throat. Soon after, both Ariel and Bridgitte dream of the same girl where she again takes her own life. Allison is also called in to one of the most bizarre cases ever. The police find a family sitting in the living room as if they were watching television. The only thing is they are all dead, with their blood having been drained from their bodies. When a second family is found a few days later, this time seated at the dinner table, they also find a homeless 17 year-old, Jennifer, hiding in the closet. Meanwhile, Joe's always erratic boss seems to have gone off the deep end completely when the pressure is on in a major project. Written by garykmcd

With Jennifer living in her house, Allison begins to better understand that her young ward has been seeing the murders through the killer's eyes. As a result, she has never seen his face but for some reason, a clown's face stands out in her memories. Allison's own dreams begin to provide other clues not only to the killer's identity but also as to why Jennifer began to dream only after she was in a serious car accident that killed her parents. She also has to act quickly since it's become obvious that Jennifer is now a target. At his work, Joe's boss Keith has vanished and it falls to him to make a presentation to Defense Department officials. When Keith re-appears Joe learns what his problem is all about but he's not too sympathetic. Written by garykmcd

After a neighbor is murdered, Allison's fears for her own family prompt her to install a high-tech talking burglar alarm, which she later suspects may be communicating with Marie. Also, Ariel meets a ghost who could help her get into the college of her choice. Written by CBS Publicity

Ariel is having a difficult time time. She seems to be jumping ahead in time but without any memories of what has happened in the intervening period. She is babysitting for her teacher, Mrs. Lisa Kerrigan, when she finds the woman in the living room shot through the head. She then jumps forward a short time to where the police want a statement from her. The biggest jump occurs where it is now 10 years into the future. She is married to a high school sweetheart Liam and has a 5 year-old child but in her mind, she still a teenager in high school. Ariel's future self begins to have visions of what happened the night Mrs. Kerrigan was killed. When Lisa's balaclava-wearing killer is identified as the mother of her child, the evidence seems to support that her husband Daniel is the killer. There is another answer however. Allison's dreams of pigs may lead to finding a young animal rights activist, Melissa Treynet, who has been missing for a few weeks. The DA's office has been asked to mediate between Victoria Gossett, the head of an animal rights group, and a local pork processing facility. Gossett is slinging wild accusations that Melissa, who was sent in undercover to work in the plant and document acts of animal cruelty, was killed because of what she found. A little pig with unique markings around one eye gives Allison all the information she needs. At home meanwhile, Joe has to deal with Marie who seems to have taken to shoplifting toys from a comic books and collectibles store she visits with Bridgette. Written by garykmcd

After Allison receives a letter from her Doctor about her tumor, she dreams of what would happen to her family if she were to die. As a spirit she meets a recently deceased woman, Mary-Louise Graff, who points her in the direction of her killer. Graff isn't being entirely honest. Ariel can see her and she gets her to continue her work with DA Devalos. It all takes a toll however. Ariel has to give up her plans to go to Dartmouth College and grows weary of her mom's constant presence. When Allison wakes up, she takes steps to deal with Graff and ensure Ariel gets her wish.
