The team returns from administrative leave to find a sniper has killed a Naval officer. they investigate and when he strikes again, they try to find the sniper and bump into an FBI agent who's also looking for the sniper. Apparently, the Feds chose not to inform Pride. Later the agent let's it slip that the FBI is investigating them for their involvement with a terrorist--Russo. And Brody quits. The FBI still continues to investigate the team over the Russo incident and Pride is getting the third degree but before it gets intense, they get a call about a murdered Naval officer. There were two other victims. They learn they were playing cards and Pride finds evidence of a fourth player, a man he knows who's an expert hacker. When the man contacts Pride and agrees to meet, they do and the guy tells Pride that he didn't kill them; they were playing cards he stepped out to get some air when he came in, he found them dead and then the shooter was there and pointed the gun at him but he got away. And that's when agent Gregorio shows up and tries to arrest the man. He gets away. Gregorio shows up and the team is wondering why is she there? Pride tells them she's working with them to resolve the Cartel matter. Chris is not so keen on her joining them but Pride tells him they need to find a way to work with her. They get a call about a Petty Officer who was found dead at a sports arena, and Gregorio joins them. They see the man was in some kind of gunfight. They find a rifle but it's a tranquilizer rifle. They learn someone sent him a threatening e-mail. They locate the one who sent it and find a couple who are arguing. They reveal the man was trying to help the get their son back. They tell Pride their son is in the Navy and he went to Mexico and while there was taken and a ransom demand was sent. Clearly they can't pay the ransom so they asked the Petty Offcier if he can help. So he was going to grab who was sent to meet them at the arena and hopefully the person they grab can help them get their son back but the whole thing went awry. Chris wants to go find ... Pride investigates the abduction of a Naval officer. He finds the man dead, all signs reveal that he was tortured before being killed. They see that the man was in contact with Sebastian, so they call him, while he's with his mother who is visiting. He says he knows the man but before he could say anything else someone approaches him asking for help so he goes and they grab him. Pride tries to find a connection between Sebastian and the officer and the only connection they find is that they both play on the same online game. When a plane with some navy sailors on board crashes, the team investigates. They find several other agencies are also investigating and Gregorio's boss, is also interested thinking it might have something to do with the Cartel since the plane originated from Brazil. When Loretta examines the pilots, she learns that both men were shot. When Sebastian goes over the evidence, he deduces that a Naval Petty Officer who was recently busted for anger and insubordination was the one who shot them. When they talk to the man's daughter who wasn't close to him, she doesn't know anything other than he wants to make it all up to her. And when someone leaks the story of her father being the one who brought the plane down, they try to find the truth. But Sebastian goes through it again and says he was wrong. When a dead sailor is found the team investigates. They learn he was going through SEAL training and he went UA. They learn from his instructor that he failed at an exercise wherein he was tied and submerged. They think he was going to quit. But they later learn the instructor tried to make him do the exercise but still panicked. So the instructor told him to go work out whatever issue he has. They assume his issue was in New Orleans. They learn he went to see Hamilton but Hamilton brushed him off. Pride talks to Hamilton who says he remembered him when he played basketball. Pride thinks he's not telling him everything. So they continue digging into his past. Loretta's son informs her that he's not going to college as they discussed but instead is going to enlist in the Navy. During a motorcycle rally, one of the participants dies. And the guy is a member of a group of bikers who are vets. Pride knows them and remembers that few years ago the vets butted heads with another group of bikers, the 49ers. They wonder if the tension between the two has been arisen. Pride tries to talk to them to tell them to let him investigate, He first goes to the vets and they say they'll wait. He then goes to the 49ers but as he is leaving there's an explosion. He doesn't think it was the vets but the 49ers are ready to retaliate. During the investigation, Sonja sees a member of the 49ers is someone she knew when she was at ATF and working undercover. When they wonder if the 49ers are planning anything, they want Sonja to make contact with the guy she knows. Gregorio keeps an eye on her but she drops her wire so they need to find her. When a petty officer is found dead, the team goes to investigate. They find her home ransacked. Pride looks around at finds a boy hiding. They learn he's the petty officer's nephew and that he's been living with her while her mother who is also in the Navy is out of the country. Pride takes the boy to the school he attends. They learn the petty officer was in the Naval band and they learn from the CO that she got into with another musician which would end up with the other musician getting the boot. They learn he was following her so they find him. He tells them he followed her but he didn't kill her and he also tells them that during one of the times he followed her, he saw her go to the school her nephew goes to and went over the fence. They try to find out why she did that. In the ,meantime Percy learns about LaSalle's child. And Gregorio tells Pride she might be leaving. And Sebastian wants to do more than lab work. A Marine on leave was driving around a race track when suddenly he crashes. Pride and the team investigate. The victim's father says his son's accident was no accident. Pride goes to talk to him and his son's girlfriend and he says he was just talking crazy. Clearly both he and the girlfriend are hiding something. But what. Pride learns from Loretta that something's going on because the Marine had a stab wound which was not treated by a doctor. Percy and LaSalle go to the Marine's and finds a lot of cash and they see it's stolen because they're covered with ink from a dye pack. Percy asks Gregorio to check it out but she has to work secretly because she's been told to work on proving Garcia is in bed with the Cartel. She learns the money is from a bank robbery. When the Coast Guard boards a yacht that is in an area that is used by smugglers, they find the Captain with the crew's waiter who is dead. They try to get him but he resists and kills him. The Coast Guard calls Pride because the yacht belongs to Javier Garcia. Pride thinks Garcia was smuggling something. He calls the FBI to tell them about it and sends LaSalle to help Gregorio. Pride discovers one of the passengers is someone he knows and that she's engaged to Garcia. Instead of arresting the men who took off the yacht what they were bringing in Gregorio decides to follow them instead if arresting them but things don't work out as planned. They learn he has a boat and they check that it went out on occasions that they Lieutenant was out of the country, So someone took the boat out. They learn that person always went to an oil rig. But to do what? Pride gets to go there and investigate. Eventually Pride learns who the killer is but it turns out he's not the only one involved. They try to take care of Pride but he evades them. Eventually they learn that someone did something that will make the rig blow up. The team learns what is happening and they need to figure out how to stop it.
