During Thanksgiving, Chase is the only person manning the bar but gets no customers while his rivaling would-be-girlfriends bicker ever worse at Nathan and Haleys -only to agree he should be the one to decide between the two. Brooke utterly ruins her first turkey dinner, so Julian takes her and his mother along to the Scotts where Clay is still residing. A lot of extra food was prepared, which turns out to be a good thing when Mouth turns up with Skills. They bought a live turkey although neither has the guts to kill it. Super-Dad Nathan prepares training buddy Jamie to being 'the man of the house' while he's away with his pro team. Haley informs Nathan that she's pregnant, to which he is very excited. Julian is enjoying life with Brooke until they both find out Victoria has potentially destroyed 'Clothes over Bros'. Chase, still managing the bar at Tric, is now being courted by both Alex and Mia, but it's turning out to not be as fun as it sounds. Clay has a nightmare before he starts a wonderful beach day with Quinn, but reality starts to set in. Are they dreaming or living an actual nightmare? Written by KGF Vissers

As the gang slowly gets word of Clay and Quinn being shot, they all are going through issues of their own. Nathan, having to return home from his pro team, tries to console Haley but is devastated himself due to his close friendship with Clay. Brooke is still processing the damage Victoria has done to the company as Julian tries consoling her. Chase has chosen Alex over Mia, who grudgingly ends up admitting he was right. Mouth is trying to find his way again with regards to his career. Still in the hospital, Quinn starts a full recovery, but Clay's situation looks hopeless unless he gets a kidney donated faster than is likely. After consulting Haley, Nathan volunteers his own, even if that ends his basketball career; said career is likely to end soon anyway as his back injury worsens. Unfortunately, he is not a match. Julian and Brooke are delighted that she is getting off with only a fine and some restructuring of her company. However, Brooke is devastated by the damage that his been done. Fraudster, Victoria, arranged this as she is willing to go to jail herself so that Brooke doesn't have to. Seasoned golfer Chase takes novice lover Alex to the links for a fun day of lessons, truth or dare and getting to trust each other. Julian proves himself the ideal babysitter as well as Brooke's pillar of strength when helping out with Jamie while Haley tends to Quinn. He also finds the perfect wedding location and discretely starts a new film project on Nathan's ailing career. Finding everything relative after what happened to finally recovering Clay, Nathan decides not to tempt fate with his back injury and decides to remain closer to home, to Haley's satisfaction. After checking to see if Jamie and Haley will support him, Nathan decides to leave basketball on account of his back condition and desire to help Clay. Clay has transferred his clients to his old agency during his recovery. Chase is far from amused discovering that the job he gave Alex is ideal preparation for a film part she never told him about. Julian supports Brooke, who gets flack from Victoria, in jail, when she decides to sell the company and use her own private assets to pay all investors back. Clay is released home from the hospital, but he is still physically unable to handle his clients. Nathan provides moral support and considers approaching those clients as a fellow locker-room insider. Even Super-Dad can't prevent Chuck Scolnick from vindictively scaring Jamie away from a ghost house on Halloween. Nathan is furious when his first mission as Clay's junior agent seems to go wrong because of his lack of jargon knowledge, but he actually lands the football client. Julian accepts Alex's suggestion to assemble all potential best men for a friendly poker night, but the mood is murderous. Chase gets abused by everyone. It's Brooke's turn to be bullied by Julian's bossy ma who pushes for a traditional wedding at a brides fair, where Haley - blaming pregnancy hormones - sides with the enemy every time. Clay finally gets some hand muscle control back. As he predicted, Nathan had no reason to be gloomy about his first contract, football talent Troy, which is signed to all parties' satisfaction. Julian and Brooke stand up to his mother, who has to back down on the fancy wedding plans but relapses into drinking. After some occupational therapy for Mouth and himself, Chase handles his Alex-Mia-dilemma. Nathan goes back to college and opts to take a harder class but he doesn't get a very welcome reception from his college professor and so with Jamie's help they figure out a way for Nathan to do better at college. Haley and Mia book Erin as warm-up act to Kid Cudi at Tric with both Mia and Alex acting as competing bar staff. Elsewhere, Quinn looks up Dan Scott and enlists his help to kill Katie Ryan but he manages to talk her out of it but she may regret her decision as Katie heads back to Tree Hill. Julian finds a list belonging to Brooke of things she's always wanted to do but never got around to so he sets about making them all come through so that she gets her lost inspiration back. Jamie subtly pretends not to know the word 'entrepreneur' so his friend Madison can win the school spelling bee. While they are headed home, a storm knocks over the car occupied by Jamie, Chuck, Madison and teacher, Miss Lauren. The first to pass by is Brooke, who abruptly stops to help. She is out driving in the storm trying to process a previous argument with Julian. Quinn, home alone, ends up in the fight of her life against the psychotic Katie who has found her way into the condo. The car wreck and attempted rescue turns dire as Julian arrives on the scene. Chase feels he's lacking social relevance in his position as bar manager, so he volunteers nobly for the Big Brother program. Coincidentally, he ends up with Jamie's best friend, Chuck as a little bro. Chuck pushes Chase's patience to epic levels until he starts to decipher what motivates Chuck to be so harsh. Julian is directing a local TV commercial, where the 'star' gives notice, but thus finds an opportunity for Mouth. Haley is almost as bored in the crisis center as Brooke and Quinn are at home. Nathan won't let Clay give up on Professor Kellerman's son, Ian, just yet. Ian, figuring his baseball arm won't last long, opts for immediate profit. Meanwhile Haley and Quinn make wrong assumptions on Valentine's Day plans, yet aren't disappointed in the end. Julian and Brooke enjoy spending their first married Valentine's Day role-playing, although they get a dose of reality knocking on the door. Chase supports Alex's slow music career launch. The gang nostalgically agrees Millicent's next TV segment should be a building project at the sight of the river court.
