Ash Ketchum is finally old enough to finally become a Pokémon Trainer: 10. With all the Pokémon gone, Ash has no choice but to take a naughty Pikachu. As he goes on, Ash gets shocked by Pikachu several times. Trying to capture a Pidgey, Ash throws a rock, and it hits a Spearow... A flock of Spearows attacks them. The two meet Misty while fleeing and Ash steals her bike. In the forest, the Spearow flock catches up. Pikachu shocks every single one of them and uses most of its energy to save Ash from the angry birds. As Ash and Pikachu approach Viridian City, Ash sees the legendary bird, Ho-oh (though he doesn't know its name) flying in the sky. Written by Anonymous

Finally arrived in Viridian City, Ash is cornered by Officer Jenny who asks why he is carrying Pikachu instead of having it in a Pokéball. He explains that Pikachu doesn't like Pokéballs and shows her his Pokédex proving that he is one of the Pallet Town Trainers. Jenny takes Ash to the Pokémon Center where Nurse Joy begins treatment on the injured Pikachu. Before Pikachu's treatment finishes, however, the Center is attacked by two members of Team Rocket, an evil organization. While still traveling through the Viridian Forest, Ash and Misty find a Pokemon trainer named Samurai, who has been challenging all of the trainers from Pallet Town.

With Brock as their new traveling companion, Ash, Misty, and Pikachu head for Mount Moon, where they discover a group of Clefairy and the legendary Moon Stone.

While lost in the woods on their way to Vermillion City, Ash and friends come across a little village where wounded Pokemon come to heal. The village is guarded by a courageous Bulbasaur.

Ash and friends find a lone Charmander that's waiting for it's trainer to return. At the Pokemon Center, they discover it's trainer actually abandoned it.

The gang finally make it to Vermillion City!! But the gym leader, Lieutenant Surge, is big and brutal with his Raichu. Will Pikachu be able to defeat his evolved form?

With three badges down, Ash and the gang's next stop is the gym in Saffron City. But first, they decide to take a cruise on the Saint Anne, where trainers cruise for free. Unknown to the trainers, the cruise is a trap set by Team Rocket.

Our heroes are stuck in the coastal town of Porta Vista, waiting for the next ferry. However, they soon see an injured Horsea, who alerts them to trouble in the harbor. It seems a large school of Tentacool is terrorizing the sailors under the employ of Nastina, a rich old crone struggling to build a luxury resort on top of the coral reefs. She offers a large reward for the extermination on the Tentacool, which Misty immediately refuses out of her love for all water Pokémon. Unfortunately, this doesn't stop everyone else from signing up for the task, including Team Rocket, who try to use their special stun sauce to take the Tentacool out. However, all the sauce does is serve to both evolve and super-size one of the Tantacool into a giant Tentacruel, which leads the others into a revolt against all humanity. It soon falls to Misty and Horsea to find a way to bring peace between both sides, but if Tentacruel doesn't take them down, Nastina might, Written by gigacaesar

Our heroes arrive at a town where the local summer's end festival is being held. However, Brock, lamenting over his lack of summertime romance, is in no mood to celebrate; that is, until he spies a beautiful and mysterious woman. Meanwhile, Team Rocket sets their sights on the prospects of dropped change when James see the same woman. Both groups then meet an old, not-so-beautiful woman who warns them of a cruel fate brought about by the maiden. This is further driven in by an ancient picture of the same woman, painted over 2,000 years ago. The maiden had been waiting for her beloved to return from a war, but he never did, and her body eventually became the stone of the cliff she stood upon. Meanwhile, her ghost goes after both Brock and James, instead, and it's up to both groups working together to bring them back. But they may find that they can't trust anyone, especially not a certain ghost-type Pokémon... Written by gigacaesar

On their way to Saffron City, our heroes come to the spot where Butterfree gather to find mates and travel together across the sea in order to have babies. Ash lets out his own Butterfree and helps it to try and find a mate of its own. It eventually finds one, a uniquely pink Butterfree, and attempts to impress it. However, Butterfree is rejected immediately and flies off heartbroken. The group help Butterfree to be more confident and try again, but to no avail. To make matters worse, Team Rocket enters in a brand new chopper and net just about every Butterfree, including the pink one. Ash's Butterfree chases after them as our heroes follow, but will it be able to stop Team Rocket on it's own and save its beloved? And when the time comes, will Ash have the courage needed to finally say good-bye? Written by gigacaesar

The gang make it to Saffron City and challenge the psychic gym leader, Sabrina. However, there is more than just a trainer badge at stake: the gangs' freedom.

Ash finds out that he's falling behind his rival, Gary, once again. When a Mankey shows up at their camp, Ash tries to catch it and ends up making it angry.

All the children are missing and the pokemon are all weak. Ash and friends need to find the mysterious sleep waves and where they are coming from in order to find the lost children.

Team Rocket plans a scheme to steal many Pokémon by opening a grooming shop. Ash and his friends meet Susie, a famous Pokémon breeder. In the end, Brock gains a Vulpix when Susie tells him to look after it as she goes off to learn more about Pokémon breeding. Written by Michael L Ballard

While moving on his journey, Ash feels a need to catch a new Pokémon. But while trying to catch Hitmonchan they meet a girl named Rebecca who asks for their help to get her father back. To help, Ash uses his Primeape against her father in a fighting Pokemon tournament. Will he win?

The group arrives in Gringy City where everything is dark and gloomy. A Magnemite follows Pikachu everywhere ever since he caught a peculiar illness, but it is the Grimers and Muk that are causing trouble in a local Power Plant. Ash finds himself among a group of Pokémon Trainers hired to protect a construction site from the interfering ground Pokémon, Diglett. The construction is shut down after it is revealed that the Digletts and Dugtrio are trying to protect their home. Jessie's Ekans and James' Koffing evolve into Arbok and Weezing respectively. Ash and friends arrive at the Fuchsia Gym only to find that no one is home except for a lonely Venonat who leads them into a bunch of traps. At first they meet Ai who is Venonat's trainer and Ai's brother who is the leader of the Fuchsia Gym. Team Rocket finds the Fuchsia Gym in an attempt to steal some rare and unusual Pokémon but all they manage to gather up is a bunch of Voltorb. Misty's Psyduck lets itself out of its poke ball and tries to battle Team Rocket on its own. Can Ash and crew save the Pokemon of the Fuchsia Gym before Team Rocket can take off with them? The gang enter the Safari Zone and find a Pokemon ranch, run by Lara, who's planning to enter a yearly Pokemon race, with her Ponyta. But when Lara gets injured, Ash decides to ride Ponyta instead.

The group enters into the Safari Zone, but they still are not in far enough to catch the Pokémon there. They are brought in by a Jenny who is the Safari Zone ranger. They see poachers on the map in the cabin and ask if they can come along with Jenny. She lets them and they go to find it is Team Rocket trying to get the Kangaskhan. They make the catch, but are stopped by a kid who protects the Kangaskhan. After this, two people land in a helicopter, who are searching for their son Tommy. They show Jenny the picture and she identifies him as the same kid who lives with the Kangaskhan. They go and find him, but he doesn't remember his real parents until his father clubs him on the head. Once he remembers, he still wants to stay with the Kangaskhan and he runs off. Team Rocket is then trying a new trick. They are in a fake Kangaskhan and they pretend that it is injured. The others come to help and then they come out to shoot tranquilizer at the other Kangaskhan. They are defeated by the ... Written by Douglas Taylor, Jr.

The group is seeking shelter from the storm and they find it in an old theater house, House of Imitate. They meet a girl named Duplica who has a talent for pretending to be other people. They also meet her Ditto who has a problem; it cannot transform it's face. She tells them about her problems and they try to help her. Eventually, Team Rocket steals Ditto and try to make it transform into various things. They are very harsh on Ditto to make it transform perfectly and it succeeds under the pressure they put it under. They give Meowth to Duplica pretending it is Ditto, but she is not fooled and eventually gets back the real Ditto. Now that Ditto can transform perfectly, Duplica can put on her shows... The group come into a forest where it is quiet and peaceful. They notice a large group of Pikachu that Ash's Pikachu tries to make friends with. After saving a young Pikachu from drowning and rescuing the herd from Team Rocket, Ash's Pikachu is welcomed among the other Pikachu as one of their own. Saddened by this sudden distance, Ash tries to leave Pikachu behind thinking that in the long run, it is going to be better off with its own kind. Written by Michael L Ballard

The gang come across a tied up Eevee. When they try to return it to it's owner, they find out that the owner's older brothers are trying to make it evolve.

Ash and the gang come to a village where there is no food, because the river is dry and plants can't grow. They decide to investigate the problem and discover that the water is being blocked by a sleeping Snorlax.

When at a carnival, Ash and his friends meet a magician who is really losing his touch and fails in his own magic show. In his effort to get better, he decides to hypnotize Ash and uses his Pokémon Exeggcute to capture loads of Exeggutor. But the Exeggutor end up hypnotizing themselves and Team Rocket and almost destroy the entire carnival. Luckily, they are saved by Charmander, who evolves into a disobedient Charmeleon. Having run out of medicine, Ash and his friends go to a local shop to get some Potions. However, they don't have much due to the owner's Paras being weak. Ash and his friends decide to help out the owner by training her Paras, hoping that it can evolve into Parasect. Written by Michael L Ballard

Entering Neon Town, a bustling Metropolis where everyone is tired and rude, Ash and his friends find a Jigglypuff who is too shy to sing its hypnotic song. Realizing they can kill two birds with one stone, Misty tries to teach the Jigglypuff to sing while Team Rocket attempts to record the song so they can use it against Ash. Everyone falls asleep, including Ash and his friends and Team Rocket, and a miffed Jigglypuff uses the marker hidden in her microphone to draw on everyone's sleeping faces. Ash and friends get caught up in a Pokémon Fossil rush. During the rush, extinct Pokémon get discovered as still alive and a new Pokémon is discovered in the form of an egg.

After Pikachu gets an apple stuck in its throat, Ash and his friends rush it to a Pokémon Center. After being treated, they hear of a traffic accident (caused by Team Rocket) that has left many Pokémon injured so Ash and the gang are recruited to help treat the Pokémon. Written by Michael L Ballard

After finding a missing person sign featuring James, Ash and his friends decide to find James and inform him of his parents' death. However James' parents turn out to be alive, and their death was only a decoy to get him to return home to the rich Jessebell, a girl James was arranged to marry from when he was a little child. When Ash and his friends see a group of Growlithe training against a Policeman posing as a robber, Ash decides for him and Pikachu to do the same training to become the best they can be. However, when Team Rocket comes to steal them, Officer Jenny, Ash, and the gang's voice gets changed, causing the Growlithe to think that Team Rocket are the Officers as they use their ears to follow command. Ash, Brock and Misty try to get a Jynx back to it's trainer in the North Pole. Meanwhile, Team Rocket try to capture the Jynx and steal all of the Christmas presents.

Ash mom and friends are going to go to Seafoam Islands. Misty and Brock are going to go surfing. Ash goes to Oaks lab to discover that Oak is trying to find out why Slowpoke evolves into Slowbro.

Ash spends the day surfing instead of training and is saved from drowning by a man named Victor and his Pikachu, Puka. Victor is a surfer who wants to ride the great wave Humunga Dunga.

Ash and Co. receive an invitation to attend the premiere of the movie Pokemon in Love in Hollywood. Team Rocket tags along, hoping to achieve fame and fortune, but Meowth has some bittersweet memories in the city that come rushing back, especially that of learning to speak in order to impress his first love.
