The liars are trapped outside of Charles' dollhouse, where his games grow more sinister; Ezra, Caleb and Toby are determined to locate the liars.

The girls may have gotten out of the Dollhouse but what happened to them during their time of captivity has lasting effects. With worried loved ones watching over them, the PLLs are home and trying to heal, with not much success. Even with suspected tormentor Andrew in custody, Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer fear they are far from safe. Meanwhile, Alison must deal with her past indiscretions and her notoriety around Rosewood.

The girls' lives have been turned upside down by their captivity and each one of them is looking for answers to make sense of their ordeal.

Hanna is still very uncomfortable with the scholarship money from Jason and wants to give it back. The girls find out that they may not be going to prom due to 'security issues'. Detective Tanner visits Aria to invite her over to the police station for a line-up. There, Aria conveniently takes a peek at a police report. Spencer remembers things about her and Toby.
