Even in light of this, the young girl refuses to talk, preferring to carry on using the 'Gypsy ways'. The thieves begin plotting to kill her once they realize she can link them to the theft of Romano's car and her uncle's murder. Hooker and Romano spot the stolen car and pursue the thief up a mountain road, but it ends when the criminal misses a turn and drives off a cliff, blowing up the car and killing the thief.
