Just as Liz is about to adopt a baby, Red sends her to investigate an adoption agency. They try to question one of the agency's people but the man runs and dies. They check the DNA of the children who were adopted. They learn that several women gave birth to the children who are also missing. They find one of the missing women dead and learn that she was kept in medically induced coma and gave birth to several children. An agent whom Ressler knows is found dead. All evidence points to a Japanese criminal whom he, the man who died and two others apprehended while he was pursuing Reddington. And when one of the other men is found dead, Ressler tries to get his girlfriend to safety but the Japanese finds him and during a struggle, she is killed. Ressler only wants to find the man and even asks Reddington for help. Liz asks Red for help and gives a piece of information, they were not aware of which changes things. Liz goes to where he died and they're approached by NSA agents who tell them to back off. Cooper shows up and tells them they should work together. They tell them that the man who was killed was working for them and he was working on something that can enable anyone to access anything which a hacker like Ivan could use. And he had it with him when he died but there's no sign of it. So Liz and Red go to Russia to find Ivan and see if he has the device.
