As Suze is recovering in hospital, the killer, nicknamed the Truth Terrorist by Hillier, calls Hillier to inform him he will continue the second truth in France, and later kidnaps a World War 2 veteran. Elise comes to understand that the Truth Terrorist is a mastermind, having covering his tracks thoroughly. When the killer contacts Danny to announce his third truth - the treatment of the mentally ill - Karl and Elise's fears are confirmed. Meanwhile, police are becoming increasingly suspicious of Stephen Beaumont. Chuks confronts him about Veronica who has disappeared from his cottage.
