EPS01
In the season premier, the old crews on Pin Wheel, Hot Tuna and Falcon, are being taken on by new blood in the form of Kahuna, Offshore Outlaw, Rasta Rocket and Reel E Buggin. The smack talk flows free, but who will end up on top ?
EPS02
Southern boat Reel E Bugging ends up dead in the water with no Bluefin, when both engines fail. After some hectic moments they manage to re-start one engine and with the Coast Guard standing by, get safely back to port.
EPS03
Southern boat Rasta Rocket sets out to prove that a little boat can be big competition, and living in a little camper can be fun too. With tension getting out of hand on Reel E Bugging, it is not clear if they will succeed in climbing the leader board. Dave Marciano on Falcon plugs on regardless.
EPS04
Boats in the fleet must sometimes rely on skippers with local knowledge, but even though following Kahuna, Dave Marciano on Falcon, manages to run aground for a few minutes. Offshore Outlaw bags a fish, and Rasta Rocket pulls in yet another fish to push them into third place.
EPS05
Kahuna and Pinwheel have a disagreement over lights and boat speed at the inlet bridge. After three trip fails, Dave Marciano on Falcon hires a new local mate in the hopes of raising his catch tally. Offshore Outlaw gets lucky at the drop off and returns for a payday. Hot Tuna hooks up and heads for home.
EPS06
With the quota nearly gone, all the Captains are pushing the limits. Tyler runs aground near the bridge because of low water, while Kahuna trying to catch what might be a final paycheck, only manages a shark. Rasta Rocket makes light work of the turbulent sand bar waves.
EPS07
With the blue fin quota extended, all the crews look to take advantage, and fish hard. Drama on Hot Tuna as the bird breaks off, leaving the crew to fight the fish on the greenstick reel alone. Kahuna gets a fake dog mascot, since some other boats with dogs, seem to have good luck.
EPS08
Extreme weather patterns move into the Outer Banks. Since they are more used to the dangerous conditions, the Southern captains, believe that have an advantage over the Northern boats. The Northern captains need to put Tuna on the deck if they want to beat the Southerners, but everyone must weigh the risk versus the reward.
EPS09
A heavy top dollar fish, caught by Zack Shackleford and his young Rasta Rocket crew, might just be a game changer, and puts pressure on the veterans of the fleet. Dave Marciano on Falcon tries trolling to catch more fish. Reel E Bugging steps up their effort.
EPS10
The Northern fleet are not going down without a fight, but the Southern fleet battles on to keep the lead. Some boats are taking risks and changing tactics, because they know that all it will take is one good sized fish to shake up the leader board.
EPS11
Most of the crews of the fleet are getting desperate and are willing to try anything to catch the fish necessary to put them at the top of the leader board, but Reel E Bugging reckon they have it in the bag. One fish could make all the difference and a little bit of luck goes a long way.
EPS12
Being away from home for extended periods of time, the crews are all feeling a little homesick, but at the back of everyone's mind is that they are doing what they do, to support those loved ones, and they need to take advantage of every last bit of quota to make that happen.
EPS13
With yet another storm moving in, and the quota dwindling before their eyes, Captains are realising that the season could end before they achieve their objectives. The decision to stay out fishing or run from the storm always needs to be a balance between safety and reward.
