Hank and Evan rush to father Eddie's Florida prison for the parole hearing he never told them about, having missed the deadline as they failed to read the official invitation from the Justice Department. They find him already out of the almost luxurious prison, having been awarded conditional leave to bus tables with his jail buddy, gentleman hacker Shaw Morgan. To the brothers' astonishment, Eddie's sponsor is their presumed-dead paternal grandfather, grumpy Ted Roth, whose name was shrunk to R when Eddie adopted it as his and their surname Lawson.
