Based on the information Vala gave them, SG-1 travels to the planet where Merlin may have hidden his secret weapon to defeat ascended beings. There they find an appropriately medieval village and learn that Merlin kept a library there. The locals have never been inside owing to a curse that on anyone who dares enter but SG-1 finds a way in. Once inside, they find a secret chamber that may reveal the location of the weapon. SGC meanwhile have located the Ori's supergate. Sam's attempt to get control of it is too late and four Ori make their way through. Everyone is in shock at the SGC when the stargate is simply beamed out of the gate room and vanishes. Security videos show a beam very much like the Asgard transporter. Daniel wonders if Osiris' transporter device may have been stolen and he and Carter are soon in Area 51 where the device has been stored. Dr. Bricksdale assures them the device is safe and secure in the vault, something Carter confirms. They set him up however and he's seen meeting a member of the Trust.
