Suffering from post natal depression and the fear her soldier husband Tom will die in Afghanistan Caroline leads a sad,aimless existence,not helped when she has a rat infestation. Divoeced pest controller Sam not only gets rid of the rodents but helps her around the house and gives her the incentive to enjoy life. Soon they are in bed together.
