The three couples take their usual summer holiday at the Hollingers hotel's 6os weekend. Maureen loves it, unlike Joyce but things get worse when it appears that Alan only booked two rooms so the men are segregated from the women. Carol however enjoys herself when she meets old friend Dennis, with whom she spends all her time whilst Trevor surprises when he opts for the climbing wall as his activity - though he does get stuck.
