Ryan and Taylor experience a bump in their blossoming relationship when Taylor's French ex-husband, Henri-Michel, comes to Newport to promote a novel that he has written about his and Taylor's whirlwind romance and brief marriage. Meanwhile, Seth goes to Seattle for Dr. Roberts' blessing to marry Summer, while back in Newport, Summer becomes acquainted with former school mate Holly Fisher, who's now married herself, and shows Summer the style of that it's like to be a Newpsie housewife. Kirsten becomes suspicious about Julie's handling of their dating service and finally learns the truth after sealing Julie's mobile phone with her clients names and phone numbers on it.
