It's Halloween, and Adam, Sally and Watch are out trick-or-treating in Spooksville. They see another kid get abducted at the door of an old house that looks abandoned. They decide to investigate. Inside the house is a carnival with lots of costumed adults that seem to be trapped there, in another dimension, by one Marvin the Magnificent, who happens to be the kid they saw get taken into the house. Marvin takes note of our threesome, whose voices seem to be strangely altered in this other dimension. Marvin ushers them into another room, where he tells them his story. He's trapped there and wants to get back to his parents. He also has his eye on Sally's magic wand (she's dressed up as a fairy princess, while Watch is a cowboy and Adam is a Ghost of Christmas Past or something-or-other with chains on).
