Five years on the country in is in the midst of civil war with Suffolk and Buckingham among the casualties at the battle of St Albans and the triumphant Plantagenet claiming the throne for the Yorkists. To avoid further bloodshed Henry agrees to make Plantagenrt his heir on his death, angering queen Margaret, who shocks her husband with a violent counter action. However the Yorkists triumph with Edward IV crowned king. Henry, descending into madness, is imprisoned in the Tower of London whilst Margaret and her son seek sanctuary in France. Yet Edward is not without his opponents, led by Margaret, whom he routs at the battle of Tewkesbury, aided by his brothers George, Duke of Clarence and Richard of Gloucester, a victory which will seal Henry's fate since Richard has ambitions of his own. Holly is the first prosecution witness via a CCTV link and, despite the defendants' barristers onslaught on her she is open and honest in her testimony, earning her parents' love and respect. With Amber's delusional attitude preventing her from giving evidence, Ruby is the next, equally convincing, witness, leading to the press gunning for the Rotherham police's ineptitude in handling the original case. All of the accused are found guilty and imprisoned. Maggie however sees a flaw in the operation, suspecting further grooming involving Amber, which she uses to provide closure. An end title brings up to date the fates of those concerned - two of them being shamefully treated. It also lists the many areas of Britain where the grooming of under-age girls has been exposed. St Clare is the obvious suspect but Father Brown, believing him to be innocent, discovers another person who remembers what happened at Dunkirk and has waited fifteen years before taking action.
