A young boy (James Bond III) pays for the cruise with his paper route money and neglects to tell his parents (J. Jay Saunders and Marilyn Coleman), at home, that he bought the ticket and is on board. A wife (Sandy Duncan) cannot release the pain of her eight-year-old son's death and takes the boy under her wing. Julie (Lauren Tewes) is training a pretty, vivacious cruise-director trainee (Jo Ann Harris), who will stop at nothing to get Julie's job. Who can and will stop her?
