At the initial competitive weigh-in, Jillian decides to use her one trainer save for the season to keep Craig on the ranch, meaning that all fifteen contestants will compete for another week. Jillian and Dolvett take aside Craig and Jennifer respectively to talk to them about issues which may hinder their weight loss journey, and to use that issue as a motivator. Ruben meets with Dr. Huizenga, who gives him some bad health news. Hap receives some bittersweet news from home, which seems to spur him on to work harder, most specifically at the last chance workout.
