Uffe pretends to be sick to avoid Pil, but finally confesses to Hjørdis about the kiss. Hjørdis has to stand up for the overachieving Birna in the face of her father, and is reminded of her own, difficult teenage years. Jeppe discovers that Ole has yet to come out to his grandmother, Gudrun. Jeppe confronts Ole about it but ends up participating in his own lie.
