Waite, however, sees him a a prime suspect and Amir's brother Kamal also agrees that the couple are murderers, before he too is killed. As a result Sarah aims to leave the Jihadis, who are planning an attack on a particular building and in thwarting it the police and pathologists must discover the link between Latif and Kamal and save another anti-fundamentalist opposed by Sarah. At the same time Sarah, now a young woman with a baby, arrives in England, a drugs mule, to stay with Alma and younger brother Jakob and Nina discovers that she has been in touch with Amir. Michael Waite of the Counter-Terrorist unit informs the team that Sarah is a jihadist and widow of a leading Daesh member but she has bolted when they call on Alma. A muscular young man, totally nude and suffering from amnesia, is dragged from the sea and taken to the Good Karma hospital, where he gives no clues to his identity. Ultimately Lydia discovers his name and his secret and, helped by Ruby, makes him face up to his situation. Ruby also visits a village school to give the children their medicals and is asked by teacher Anton Karkik for a date, which she turns down, and to help pupil Vijay, who is withdrawn and under-sized for his age. This leads Ruby to a confrontation with his single mother and the discovery of an incident in Gabriel's past. Gabriel himself races against time to collect the serum to save a roguish snake-charmer bitten by one of his animals and almost fails, following a road accident, whilst Maggie decides that she wants to die in India. Scout falls for Ukrainian pupil and would-be football star Danilo,an asylum seeker, and they agree to get married,despite Phoenix's attempts to stop Scout.
