Midshipman Ryan White is pleasantly surprised that he can join mate 2Dads aboard the Hammersley, yet fears hazing until commander Flynn assures him he's quite safe, especially as the captain's godson, except for innocent pranks. Patroling in the Arafura Sea, the ship finds only corpses floating around a burning, sinking ship.
