Section 10 is in Cape Town, on the trail of Latif's South African contact. Despite cocky local henchmen picking fatal gun-fights, the buddies catch one, who under threat to his family puts them on the trail of interesting parties: an executive of a major UK arms manufacturer and former IRA killer turned mercenary Daniel Connolly. It's to late to stop the last from brutally raiding an armored car carrying the firm's security codes, but the top-notch memory medium requires an ITC whizkid. Connoly's, Hugo, is found and killed. Section 10 guesses rightly his replacement is an American, whom they also catch. Damien takes his place, but Connoly isn't easily fooled and leaves him behind with a bomb taped to his chest.
