Having the lowest percentage of weight loss as a team and being a single member team, John, without deliberation, was sent home after the latest weigh-in. Koli is having doubts about himself being on campus, especially as John, who he feels is more deserving, is no longer there. The contestants learn that for this week, they will now be weighing in as individuals as opposed to teams, two contestants will be sent home (the one with the lowest percentage of weight loss, plus one of the next two who will be voted home), and in the spirit of the upcoming 2010 Winter Olympics that they will be training at the US Olympic Training Center much like Olympic athletes do. As a pop challenge, the contestants are required to 500 slides on a slide board (mimicking a speed skating maneuver), with a gold, silver and bronze medal awarded to the top three finishers.
