The staff band together and sign a letter against the takeover, but it goes ahead and Gus Hedges becomes the new manager, brimming over with management-speak. Damien is reprimanded for spicing up news reports by including his teddy bear Dimbles as a creative touch, but this doesn't slow him down. George sacks him but Gus intervenes and has him reinstated.
