Icey drug criminal Seth Gecko and his loony brother Rickie just escaped from prison and rob Pete's liquor store in the desert on their way to Mexico. As Sheriff Earl McGraw happens to drop by for some supplies, they shoot him from hiding, but are pinned down by his Ranger patrol partner Freddie Gonzalez. Cartel boss Carlos Madrigal toys with promises and his cut.
