Second compilation movie of the TV series which covers episodes 9-13. Riko and Reg descend to the third layer where Riko has her first experience of the Curse. They descend to the fourth layer where Riko's arm is injured by an Orbed Piercer and Reg tries to save her. Nanachi comes to their aid and saves Riko's poisoned arm. In return Nanachi asks Reg to kill her immortal companion Mitty. Nanachi then joins Riko and Reg in their quest to reach the bottom of the Abyss.

In an alternate version of Japan, superhumans from all different forms of fiction now coexist with humans: witches, kaiju, cyborgs, and even youkai. Some use their powers for criminal acts, some use them for heroic acts, and some even use them to just live normal lives. With the introduction of these new superhumans, the Japanese government formed the Superhuman Bureau: a team of individuals who overlook and protect them. The story follows Jiro Hitoyoshi, a member of this bureau, and what his grand purpose really is in all of this. Is what he's doing with the bureau good or is he no better than the criminal superhumans he keeps in check?

Based on Vocaloid songs from "Kokuhaku Jikko Iinkai ~Renai Series~" by HoneyWorks, the movie is the second film based on the songs, following Tetsuya Yanagisawa's previous anime, "I Want to Let You Know That I Love You".

Love is blooming at Sakuragaoka High School. Natsuki Enomoto has finally mustered the courage to confess to her childhood friend, Yuu Setoguchi. However, in the final moments of her confession, an embarrassed Natsuki passes it off as a "practice confession." She introduces herself as second year Tōko Amano, the literature girl, and asks him to join the Literature Club so that he doesn't expose her secret. After almost two years of being the sole two members of the club, a strange message arrives: a piece of paper with a peculiar drawing. Further investigation leads them not only to Inoue's past, but to the reason for why he has given up on writing novels for the rest of his life.

A year has passed since Guts parted ways with Griffith. The Band of the Hawks is plotting a rescue mission to save Griffith who is confined to prison. One night, a group of assassins attack the band, and a bloody battle for survival begins. Just as things are beginning to look grim for them, Guts reappears and saves them. This arc is a flashback showing Guts' youth and what led him to become the "Black Swordsman". Guts grows up as a young mercenary until his enrollment in the Band of the Hawk. He develops complex relationships with Casca and Griffith, the Band's charismatic leader and holder of the Crimson Behelit, who leads the Band to its rise to prominence within the Midland army. Griffith is elevated from his commoner status to the nobility, causing some resentment, and after sleeping with the King's daughter, Griffith is imprisoned, and the Hawks are declared outlaws. The Hawks manage to rescue Griffith, only to find him broken mentally and physically. From a conventional medieval European background, the story shifts to fantasy and horror, with the apparition of the Eclipse ceremony that ends with the destruction of the Band, as per Griffith's sacrifice in order to become Femto, the fifth member of the God Hand, and reclaim his path towards his dream.
