The universe of the Halo video game series is expanded in seven short animated films from Japan's greatest anime directors and studios.

Bayonetta: Bloody Fate follows the story of the witch Bayonetta, as she defeats the blood-thirsty Angels and tries to remember her past from before the time she awoke, 20 years ago. Along her side are a mysterious little girl who keeps calling her "Mummy", a journalist that holds a personal grudge against Bayonetta and a unknown white-haired woman who seems to know more than she is willing to reveal about Bayonetta's time before her sleep.

Shirou Emiya finds himself an unwilling participant in a deadly competition where seven Mages summon heroic spirits as servants to duel each other to the death. They compete for the chance to make a wish from the Holy Grail, which has the power to grant any wish. Shiro is unskilled as a mage and knows nothing of the Holy Grail War, but he and his servant, Saber, enter into a temporary partnership with another Mage, Rin Tohsaka. However, problems arise between Shirou and Rin's servant, Archer, who seems to seriously despise him.

Newborn Orine is orphaned in a tragic accident driving home from hospital. Nineteen years later Orine is on the run from the police when government agent Yuri offers an escape: a secretive mission to an experimental space-station orbiting earth. Orine enters the space-station to find her mother, Satomi, almost unchanged since her death almost 20 years ago. Unorthodox scientist Sensei explains Satomi was frozen at death and brought back to life using cyronics. Orine's orders are to shut down the space-station by planting explosives, but Satomi and Sensei attempt to convince her not to. Mother and daughter try to make up for lost time but the beautiful young fugitive must choose to destroy her mother, or save the world. Written by Anonymous

Major Motoko Kasunagi is an officer in Section 9, an elite, secretive police division that deals with special operations, including counter terrorism and cyber crime.
