The basic story of the movie revolves around P.K. Jayan aka 'Vattu' Jayan (played by Indrajith) and Roy Joseph aka Che Guevera Roy (played by Murali Gopy). Vattu Jayan is a corrupt cop who manages his daily necessities through bribed money and does not touch his salary for anything. Che Guevara Roy is an ex-communist comrade who now teaches in a school with his wife.
Madhavan Nair unknowingly kills a teenager. Raja, his eldest son, takes the blame and is sentenced to jail for five years. After jail, Raja rescues the daughter of a village land lord in Madurai, becomes his right hand Pokkiri Raja.
Movie is narrated through three different tracks. The romance between two students forms the first track, story of a villain forms the second track and third track played by two friends. Confluence of these three tracks completes the plot.
Joseph (Jayasurya) and Aparna (Aparna Gopinath) are a normal husband and wife family with two children (Aakash Muraleedheeran and Angelleena Rosshan) Aparna Gopinath. Joseph's son Aakash often gets into a lot of trouble and so his father Joseph, a mild tempered business man often scolds him for it. The children look at their parents very distantly because of their father's strictness. The two children are are the main characters of this film which is based on a real life incident. Sub Inspector R Gopakumar (Kunchacko Boban) is a police officer that later comes into the story. The film revolves around the adventures of the children and how they view adults.
Vandana and Aby are outstanding volleyball players. An accident changed Aby's life forever. Aby is so disheartened that his dream will never come true. Vandana sets off to Central Jail to select efficient players to fulfill Aby's wish.
