Lung (Nick Cheung), a hardworking property agent, is facing a serious situation in life. His girlfriend won`t marry him unless he can buy her a 1000-sq ft. apartment in one year’s time; whilst Charlotte (Sammi Cheng) desperately needs a place to stay after her divorce. Along with Lung’s intern Very (Oho), a mainland richling, they become co-owners of the office girl Hak’s (Angelababy) small flat that was left to Hak by her estranged mother.
Picking up some time after the events in the first movie, Sean Lau is now the Commissioner of Police after the successful rescue operation. However, things turn bad when his wife and daughter are kidnapped. Sean has to seek help from former rival and retired DCP, Waise Lee, to return to his job to help save Sean`s wife and child.

Chu Kei soon becomes the attention of the public and all the media go after her for interviews. It has always been her dream of becoming a famous celebrity that she even promised Jeff she will not date anyone. However, she is in fact married to a reporter named Lai Mo. Returning home with his father after a shopping expedition, Wong Fei-Hong is unwittingly caught up in the battle between foreigners who wish to export ancient Chinese artifacts and loyalists who don't want the pieces to leave the country. Fei-Hong has learned a style of fighting called "Drunken Boxing", which makes him a dangerous person to cross. Unfortunately, his father is opposed to his engaging in any kind of fighting, let alone drunken boxing.
