In the late 1960s, C’est Si Bon is the music bar where every acoustic band’s dream lies. There Geun-tae, a naïve country boy, meets the young musical prodigies Hyung-joo and Chang-sik, and forms the band named after it -- the C’est Si Bon Trio. As the three young artists bicker over their music, beautiful socialite Ja-young enters the picture and becomes their muse, and a series of moving love songs come from it. Geun-tae’s pure-heartedness wins Ja-young over but when she accepts a once-in-lifetime opportunity for a shot at an acting career, they part ways. After 20 years, the untold story of their love, song, and youth at C’est Si Bon is finally brought to light.
Dr. Mi-Soo misdiagnoses a patient after she meets the woman's husband, whom she assumes to be abusive. With his wife in grave condition, the man sues the hospital. Kang-Il is a widowed firefighter who overhears the situation and when he attempts to counsel the woman's husband, he is assaulted by him. When Mi-Soo learns about the confrontation, she tries to get Kang-Il to be a character witness for her and realizes that he may also be her true love.
Set in the future, South and North Korea agree to set up a unified government. They have prepared for the unification for the past 7 years. Meanwhile, demonstrators, supporting and opposing the unification, become more fierce. A group against the unification commit terrorist acts. A special police force is formed in response.
A newly elected prime minister is assassinated as part of a conspiracy, and a deliveryman has to flee for his life when he is framed and the evidence against him begins to accumulate.
