A struggling actor conjures a dark force in order to win a movie role.

During the Late Tang Dynasty, a manor is invaded by a demon cat and a sense of unrest befalls the capital of Changan. A poet is charged with investigating the case and meets up with a monk. The two work together and pull apart the thread of clues to reveal a history of truths leading to the events.

This is a story of a small town girl named Nastya. Her newly married husband Ivan drives her to his hometown to meet his family. Upon their arrival Nastya feels she made a wrong decision: she is surrounded by weird people and she sees creepy photos all around the house. Ivan disappears while his family prepares Nastya for a mysterious traditional Russian wedding ceremony. She struggles to calm herself down hoping all this will end and they will live happily ever after. Only if she stays alive...

Charlie, a bi-polar, down on his luck average Joe suffers a psychotic break after quitting smoking a synthetic brand of cigarettes. As he becomes more unhinged from withdraw he begins to hear the cigarettes speak, telling him do nasty things, like kill his roommates.
