Jon Chryst, now 60, has been an outlaw for his entire adult life. After 30 years in isolation, the law has finally caught up to him. Alien monster uses a psychic to try to take over the earth.

A group of archeological students head out into the desert on a dig for Indian artifacts, a practice which is forbidden both by their college faculty and the locals. Ignoring the warnings of a old Native American man, the group arrive at their destination and begin digging.
