The story started in high school. Su Yunjin (Liu Yifei) is a struggling transfer student from a regional town, while rich heir Cheng Zheng (Kris Wu) is the star student who sits behind her. Both aided and endangered by the director (Peter O'Toole) he avoids both the police and sudden death as a stuntman. The Hong Kong vampire genre receives a fun twist in director Nick Leung's action-comedy Get Outta Here, which features Alex Tak-Shun Lam following in the footsteps of his father, Hong Kong superstar George Lam. The elder Lam played a western vampire in the classic 1990 comedy A Bite of Love, and Alex Lam does the same here as Joe, a dapper western vampire who awakens after a century-long slumber in Kowloon. Joe initially has nowhere to go, but he ends up taking a shine to overly-emotional Hong Kong girl Apple (singer Julie Arie), and moves into her flat along with her grandmother (Yuen Yee Ng) and their British boarder (Gregory Charles Rivers). Lucky for everyone involved, Joe doesn't like to drink human blood, and he forms a bond with his new flatmates. Her brothers find out the mistake and follow her on another plane. Upon arriving in Los Angeles, Megan uses her parents' credit card to order a limousine to take her to an expensive hotel and book a presidential suite. Before finding out, however, the brothers wait to see Megan's plane take off. When the brothers arrive in Los Angeles, they go out to find their sister and get her to Denver.
