On the run from the cops, David Slaney (Allan Hawco) is sent to Montreal by Brian Hearn (Eric Johnson) to pick up money for a potential new deal. Complications arise when some extreme personal baggage is exposed between Hearn and Slaney. And things get worse when an old business acquaintance starts up trouble.

Slaney (Allan Hawco) and Tommy (Julian Black Antelope) conjure their own plans against Hearn (Eric Johnson). Meanwhile, Hearn is in Mexico awaiting Slaney's arrival and preparing for an upcoming drug deal. Finally, Slaney (Allan Hawco) and Hearn (Eric Johnson) are reunited in Cancun for the first time since Slaney's jail sentence five years ago. Things escalate quickly as RCMP detective Patterson (Paul Gross) and KC (Enuka Okuma) decide to follow Slaney and go undercover in order to finally capture Hearn.

The group sailing down to Colombia will soon be embarking on the trip, but seemingly Brian is in charge of who will be going and who won't be, which doesn't quite match what David, Roy and KC were envisioning. Part of the crew will be Ada, who Brian sees as his eyes and ears on David. Ada, however, has her own agenda as she knows she is getting into something potentially dangerous. Financially, David finds his own insurance policy. But before embarking on the trip, David wants some assurances from Roy and KC as to a matter back home. He also learns why this drug deal is so important to Brian. With the crew that is going, Kyle and Ward have differing opinions on what is the end goal in their mission. KC finds that she is in a tight spot, both with Brian's entourage, some who don't trust her, and with her own crew on an associated matter. David may unwittingly give her an idea on how best to deal with her predicament, but that may only the first step in getting out of her hole. Written by Huggo

David, Cyril and Ada have arrived in Cartagena, Colombia, to make the drug deal. The deal doesn't go down quite as envisioned, meaning that those that actually went ashore may not make it back onto the boat alive. At different times through the process, Cyril and Ada show their true purpose for being on this trip. Back in Cancun, KC is in a bind needing to retrieve the tape recorder from Brian's house without him knowing what she's doing. What happens in this matter leads to Roy ending up in a difficult spot of his own in terms of both his job and ending this case with Brian the way he wants. Roy also has a new target in Captain Ramirez, who he learns is also crooked.
