The triple murder of a couple running a restaurant and their employee is reopened when it is revealed in court that the man who was originally charged with the crime was robbing a store at another location at the time of the murders.

The case begins when an abused wife alleges that her husband killed a girl in 1979 and produces a supposed snuff reel showing him possibly committing the crime. When a young woman is killed on the fourteenth anniversary of a similar murder, even bearing similar drawings on her body, Rush and her team hone in on a mentally-disturbed young man. He admits killing the second girl and having visited the site yearly since the first death. This included likely burning down a bathhouse where gay men were transmitting the disease and threatening to out closeted homosexuals who did not agree to petition congress for a solution. The early investigation also discovers that he was estranged from his prominent father who had kicked him out of his brother's wedding for bringing his partner along to the reception. A headless corpse is found in the woods. The victim is identified and the ex-husband who used to assault his wife is charged with the murder. Later several similar corpses are found by the hounds; all the victims are women who disappeared in November and all were shot. While trying to find connections between the victims the team learns that all of them tried making denouncements for having been attacked but to no avail. Written by tguy

The early 1990's death on the railroad tracks of a mentally handicapped teenager is reopened. Drawings depicting the incident surface which indicate it may not have been an accident as originally believed.

The team investigates the early 1980's murder of a surgeon's wife. The husband had been convicted of the murder and was thought to have committed it for insurance money. The couple was under financial pain as a result of the doctor being sued for malpractice after he accidentally caused the death of one of the family's best friends on his operating table.
