The body is identified as that of a woman who was a passenger in 1966. So they talk to her friend who was traveling with her and some of the ship's crew. A young jazz musician, whose father is a strict clergyman, was beaten to death by a bottle in 1970. The investigation is reopened at the request of the son of the victim. Meanwhile, an unexpected person comes to meet Rush.

When a plane wreckage is discovered. They find out that it went down during World War II and that it was piloted by a woman who's a member of the Women Airforce Service Pilots or WASP. When they learn that the plane was tampered with they suspect that someone wanted to get rid of her.
