After June uses a power point presentation to persuade James to attend a Dawson's Creek reunion show, she finds out that every year Chloe fakes the letters to boost his ego.

James desperately tries to handle his erratic Halloween-phobia by dressing for a happy party. To June's delight, even Chloe seems happy with great new boyfriend Benjamin, an actor friend of James's, until she's told that's the victim of her annual Halloween prank: wrecking someone by making his worse nightmare come trough, in this case a broken heart. Tired of waiting, lonely Mark lets a customer sit him up with a relative, which arouses June's jealousy, exposed by Chloe in time to make her break into his date schedule, yet their high sexual hopes aren't nearly met. Like Chloe, Ben practices sexual rotation, one lover per day of the week except Sunday, but unlike him, she's not ranked first of his six.
