As Rick goes off to try and find a safe route back to the cave where they have made their temporary home, Will and Holly spy a family of ape-like creatures. To his surprise, the pylon flashes back. When Will goes to try and catch a pink and blue chicken, Holly sees three diamonds twirling around in the sky by the pylon that flashed at Will. Will and Holly go to investigate the pylon and Will manages to get the pylon to open up, revealing a chamber inside. In the center of the chamber is a tray filled with illuminated colored crystals. When Will and Holly start touching various crystals, the weather outside begins going haywire. The dinosaurs become agitated and Rick goes in search of Will and Holly. He finds them and they tell him about the pylon. The twirling diamond reappear above the pylon, flashing the colors of the crystals that Will and Holly had touched. But reality is that the drought has negatively affected the creatures of the Land of the Lost. Usually docile Emily the brontosaurus goes on a rampage, and all the dinosaurs have been ravaging all the food sources that the Pakuni generally harvest, which in turn has turned the Pakuni against the Marshalls. Rick believes Will and Holly have discovered the reason for the drought, namely crystals which are missing from one of the pylons, those pylons which control the weather. They find the crystals in the Pakuni's compound. They have to figure out how to get the crystals back and replace them in the pylon, all the while ... Written by Huggo
